As a program designed to facilitate collaboration between  MIT-connected startups and industry for growth opportunities, MIT Startup Exchange (STEX) is proud to share recent highlights from the STEX community—recognizing successful partnerships, groundbreaking research, and industry awards that serve as stepping stones towards a brighter, more resilient future.

• 3D Architech won the “2025 SME AM Start-Up Technology Award,” presented by SME for outstanding innovation in additive manufacturing. 
   
• Alivexis announced the second closing of its Series D round, bringing the total amount raised in the round to 900M JPY (approximately $6M USD). To date Alivexis has raised a total of 6.76B JPY (approximately $45M USD). 
   
• Cellino announced a partnership with Karis Bio to develop first nebula-powered autologous iPSC therapy for cardiovascular disease. 
   
• Finwave Semiconductor secured $8.2M in funding in April 2025 from lead investors Fine Structure Ventures, Engine Ventures, and Safar Partners to drive its market push and unlock the full potential of GaN-on-Si for 5G/6G networks.
   
• Foundation Alloy touts breakthrough solid-state manufacturing process that is revolutionizing metal production.  
   
• Magnolia Electronics received NSF funding to build a prototype SerDes communication device using its machine learning-enabled analog/digital converter. 
   
• Manus Robotics presented their gesture-recognition wearable wristband, Hemyo, at Touch Taiwan 2025. 
   
• Narratize launched new Product Knowledge Hub capabilities, enabling teams to bring products and discoveries to market faster, smarter, and with greater impact. 
   
• Phoenix Tailings raised a $76M Series B round led by Envisioning Partners, with participation from Escape Velocity, Yamaha Motor Ventures, Builders Vision & BMW iVentures, to scale its revolutionary rare earth metal separation and metallization technology. 
   
• RaySecur was featured in Forbes as CEO Alex Sappok addressed overlooked security vulnerabilities in physical mail. 
   
• SiTration, Inc. has moved into a new facility in Watertown, MA, to accelerate development efforts, enabling the company to commission larger pilot systems that demonstrate the ultra-efficient recovery of critical minerals, including copper and gold.
   
• Sparkdit secured a contract with one of the world’s leading fashion brands, headquartered in Italy, to integrate Sparkdit.com’s generative AI-based decision intelligence platform into its shopping experience.
