Startups on Covid-19 for 6/5 & following Zoom event with corporates

Deadline: May 28, 2020

Thanks everyone for applying.   Sorry if we haven't gotten back to you: we're still formulating our plans for showcasing all the great startups working on Covid.

5/12 Update - The 5/22 slots are full, see https://startupexchange.mit.edu/attend.  We're now looking for startups for 6/5, and the topic is on Covid-19 and data analytics.

4/28 Update -The 5/8 speaker slots are already filled.  But we're going to run another session on May 22nd 10am ET, and make this a rolling series.   Do continue to apply and we'll let you know which slot we get you down for.   If you have questions, please direct to beccax@mit.edu.

4/21 Update - Due to high demand, the 4/24 speaker slots are already filled.  But we're going to run another session on May 8th 10am ET, and possibly the Friday after that or two Fridays after that.  Do continue to apply and we'll let you know which slot we get you down for.   If you have questions, please direct to beccax@mit.edu.

4/15 Update - We're also looking for startups working on Covid-19 solutions for our 30mins with MIT startups Friday morning virtual event.   Apply below and indicate your availability for Zoom event Friday 4/24 morning 10am (ET).  We had 40+ corporates registered for our last event and very good feedback.

Does your startup have an innovative solution for urgent Covid-19 needs?  Ideally they should be validated to work and demonstrate feasibility to scale.  And could contacts to corporates help you scale up?  Including but not limited to manufacturing & distribution capability, or get key data, or tap into their industry knowledge and networks?  MIT Startup Exchange is looking to help you make the connection.

Urgent Covid-19 needs include PPE gears, testing equipment, medical equipment, vaccination  and more:

• Surgical/procedure masks

• N95/N99 masks (respirators)

• Face masks with integrated shield

• Testing reagents

• Sample collection supplies (sterile swabs, tubes, media)

• Hospital Supplies

• Ventilators, PEEP

And solutions may also include innovative data analytics

Some examples of both groups see here: http://news.mit.edu/2020/mit-companies-covid-19-0326

An example on our work in the last week or so is with an MIT low-cost ventilator startup. We've helped them connect with automotive, medical device, and logistics companies. The response from both the corporates and the startup have been very positive.

Application Requirements

In your response, please

  1. Startup fit - Explain concisely what you offer & your match with the above
  2. MUST HAVE! One-line description for your self for our mtg agenda
  3. Any relevant use cases / customer stories (can indicate industry/size if not ready to go public)
  4. Stage of startup / maturity of technology - For medical offering any patient/trial data
