P&G Grooming is obsessed with deeply understanding and delighting our consumers. Our ability to reach consumers anywhere, everywhere has allowed us to offer an unmatched experience to men and women across the world, enabling them to be the best they can be every day. We are committed to step up our efforts and communicate 1:1 with them. Our vision is to operate as a consumer first, data driven company in order to delight consumers and continue grow the category. In order to succeed, we want to partner and to find new ways to enable the 1:1 relationship via first-party customer data at scale.

Business Challenge:

We are learning to communicate with consumers 1:1 with success. However, we still have opportunities to better understand their needs, offer some swagger, give them relevant tips, etc. How can P&G Grooming accelerate building and capturing first-party data at scale? What technologies and partners exist that can help us increase our first-party data by 10x and enable us to operate as a data-driven company?

The problem and help needed is on how P&G can unleash massive amounts of consumer data to enable 1:1 relationships and how to best leverage this data. We are looking for new and creative approaches to open the floodgates and experience hockey stick growth in first-party consumer data collection. First party data may be defined in a variety of ways: (1) Contactable Data (email, SMS, etc.) and (2) Data to help us know more about a consumer and what is right for them (purchase history, traits, demographic, email, etc.)

The focus of this brief is driving data acquisition in key markets, including North America, Europe, Japan & Korea, and therefore, interested parties must be able to activate in one or several of those regions.
