Startup Speakers for Work of the Future @MIT Webinar 4/29 and 5/4

Deadline: April 6, 2021

MIT Startup Exchange is looking for 3-4 startup speakers to participate in a pre-recorded webcast on April 29 and a possible follow-up live event on May 4, both focused on work of the future.

The COVID pandemic has only accelerated changes that were already in progress in the way we work, how we work and where we work. It has emphasized other aspects of our lives that depend on making a livelihood, such as where we live, how we balance work/family/personal priorities; what career paths will look like; how we collaborate with peers; whose work must be done in person vs done remotely, and who has access to the technologies that enable remote work; health and safety in the workplace; urban planning and even the redesign of our living spaces. There are also implications for business, which will have to accommodate these changes, and also new opportunities emerging that will change their strategic planning and growth.

In this webinar we will engage experts to share their insight from their research, their views on the trends that are now clearly emerging, and their advice on preparing for the future of work, of the workforce, and of the organizations of the future. And we will also feature MIT-connected startups that have innovative tech in this space.

More information can be found on the MIT ILP website.

The expected audience will include hundreds of executives from MIT ILP corporate members globally.

Each startup speaker will pre-record a 4 minute video to be shown on April 29. The live event on May 4 would be a chance to engage directly with MIT ILP corporate members.

Pre-recorded videos will need to be submitted 2-3 weeks before they are showcased/before event date, with final decks and dry runs finalized before that.

Apply early, selections will be made on a rolling basis!
