This new energy system will enable the decarbonization of ground/sea/air transportations, where the existing and emerging technologies have critical limitations due to their low energy densities.
Description
AMOGY Inc., is a development stage company building an innovative portable carbon-free energy system using ammonia (NH3) as a renewable fuel. This novel system offers extremely high energy density over 1,000 Wh/kg, x5 and x2.5 higher system-level energy densities compared to Li-battery and gaseous hydrogen, respectively.
Amogy's unique solution will enable the decarbonization of heavy ground/sea/air transportations, where the existing and emerging technologies have critical limitations due to their low energy densities. Amogy was founded by four MIT PhD alumni, sharing the vision for a decarbonized future transportation system. As a mission, we aim to eliminate >5 billion metric tons of CO2 emission by 2040, accomplishing the complete decarbonization of transportations by 2050.
