Jet Aviation AG is an internationally active subsidiary of General Dynamics in the business aviation sector, founded in 1967 and based in Basel, Switzerland. It has 50 locations worldwide and its services encompass: Aircraft Management, Aircraft Sales, Charter, Completions, Defense, FBO, Maintenance, Staffing.
The XR working group, part of Jet Innovation Steering Committee organization, is looking to enhance customers experience and augment employees' capabilities in different lines of services, such as production of bespoken aircraft or aircraft maintenance, with the ultimate goal of improving efficiencies and saving costs.
The group is looking for startups working on:
- Augmented Reality
- Virtual Reality
Use case(s):
- Develop apps and platforms to perform tasks and checks guided by AR devices.
- Develop VR solutions to review and check design and engineering models and data.
- Develop VR and AR trainings.
Potential next steps:
Selected applicants will be invited to meet in virtual early-middle April. If mutual interest is identified, pilots at Jet Aviation facilities in Switzerland in 2H 2022 will be arranged.
