Speak at 2022 MIT Startup Exchange Silicon Valley Showcase on June 22 - Theme: Sustainability

Deadline: April 24, 2022

Looking for 8 startups to present their tech at the 2022 MIT Startup Exchange Silicon Valley Showcase, on the topic of Sustainability. This will be our first in-person event in Silicon Valley since the start of the pandemic, and we are excited to bring together industry leaders, thought leaders, innovators and disruptors around this pressing theme. It is a one-day event to be held on Wednesday, June 22, in Mountain View, CA. Past MIT Startup Exchange Silicon Valley Showcases have been hosted by Google, GE Ventures and LG Technology Ventures.

THEME:  Sustainability and its many arms, including renewable energy, climate change, fortifying supply chains, digital power and more. We will explore sustainability and its business implications across industries from the perspective of senior corporate leaders, startup founders, investors and world class academics, via keynotes, panel discussion, lightning talks and startup exhibits.

FORMAT: Short Lightning Talks followed by Lunch Exhibit. In addition, a startup could participate on one of the panels. Startups will need to do a quick virtual dry run to review slide deck, as needed. We are also looking to include rapid-fire 1-min pitches by CA-based startups, as another opportunity to feature the tech there and engage with corporates at the event.

These events are attended by ILP global corporate members represented by senior executives, as well as by others from the ecosystem, and provide an excellent forum for exploring partnerships and collaboration opportunities between startups and industry (depending on evolving pandemic and other circumstances, this in-person event would become virtual).

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Note: selection will be on a rolling basis, so apply ASAP.

To apply, please provide the following:

  • -brief description of your startup's technology-based product/services & 1 compelling use case;
  • -brief description of current market traction (e.g. pilot, validation results, paying customers, etc.);
  • -speaker bio & a few words on the speaker’s experience as a speaker (optionally, including a video sample);
  • -one-paragraph explanation of the unique fit between the event/theme and the startup’s vision, technologies, products, or services;
  • -in addition, please make sure to update your Startup Exchange profile if you have not done so recently. An up-to-date profile will ensure we can correctly match you with corporate requests!
