Speak at 2022 MIT Sustainability Conference: Technologies and Industry

Deadline: July 11, 2022

Looking for 8-10 Startups to present their technology on Sept 20 in the field of Sustainability and its many arms. Participation will entail short Startup Lightning Talks and Lunch Exhibit.

THEME: Sustainability in the face of increasingly severe climate change: What, practically speaking, does that mean for the corporate world?  For manufacturing, chemical, materials and process companies, it means transforming to low-emissions methods and technologies – and exploiting the growth of renewable energy to power this transformation.  For other corporate enterprises it also means adaptation – leveraging computation and communications technologies for better forecasting, resilience and risk mitigation.

Day 1 of this event will showcase bold, innovative faculty, impactful MIT research programs and disruptive startups all working to decarbonize industrial processes and improve resilience.  Building on this, Day 2 will feature a morning of workshops to engage more deeply with several leading MIT centers who are dedicated to solving industrial sustainability challenges in water, emissions and materials.

Startups will need to do a quick virtual dry run to review slide deck, as needed.

These events are attended by ILP global corporate members represented by senior executives, as well as by others from the ecosystem, and provide an excellent forum for exploring partnerships and collaboration opportunities between startups and industry.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Note: selection will be on a rolling basis, so apply ASAP.

To apply, please provide the following:

  • -brief description of your startup's technology-based product/services & 1 compelling use case;
  • -brief description of current market traction (e.g. pilot, validation results, paying customers, etc.);
  • -speaker bio & a few words on the speaker’s experience as a speaker (optionally, including a video sample);
  • -one-paragraph explanation of the unique fit between the event/theme and the startup’s vision, technologies, products, or services;
