We seek 10-12 MIT-connected startups to present at showcases at KOFIA, and Samsung in Seoul, Korea (November 3, 4), and at Keidanren in Tokyo, Japan (November 8). Selection is on a rolling basis, apply early!
We are looking startups in the following areas:
The events at KOFIA, Samsung Electronics, and Keidanren are an opportunity for startups to display their work to an audience of industry professionals in Korea and Japan for the purpose of establishing or strengthening business relationships in those countries.
Startups will present a lightning talk, and have table space where they can demo technology and network with other participants during the event. Each selected startup will have approximately 8 minutes to present a lightning talk on a science-based technology they are bringing to the market (further details regarding the presentation will be shared after the selection).
There will be one-on-one meeting opportunities with KOFIA members, and ILP member companies in both Korea and Japan.
Showcase participants will receive a round-trip economy class flight ticket, hotel accommodations, and transportation for one participant per startup. And will need to check on visa requirements / process visa as needed for the trip.
