MIT Research & Development Conference seeks startups to present and exhibit

12 startups will be selected to present in the Startup Lightning Talks and to showcase at the Startup Exhibit.

Together with partners in industry and government, MIT faculty and researchers continue to seek compelling problems where MIT innovation can make a transformative impact. In alignment with the vision of MIT President, the Startup Exchange team is looking for startups working on Biotech, AI and Climate.

The annual Research and Development Conference on November 15-16, 2023 will offer presentations, workshops and interdisciplinary tracks to engage with MIT researchers, MIT Startup Exchange entrepreneurs, and global business leaders dedicated to innovating to create a better world.

The flagship annual conference will convene ILP global corporate members represented by senior executives and provide an excellent forum for exploring partnerships and collaboration opportunities between startups and industry.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS - Selection will be on a rolling basis

To apply, please provide the following:

  • brief description of your startup's technology-based product/services & 1 compelling use case; 
  • brief description of current market traction (e.g. pilot, validation results, paying customers, etc.);
  • one-paragraph explanation of the unique fit between the event/theme and the startup’s vision, technologies, products, or services

NOTE: Priority during the selection process will be given to startups that have participated in an Intake Session; or have recently provided an update to the Startup Exchange team.

Startups will be notified of their selection status by October 15, 2023.
