Dubai Police would like to invite up to 10 MIT-affiliated startups for a 10-day session at their KIDC facilities in Dubai. Selected participants will arrive in Dubai on September 29 and depart on October 8 with working sessions on October 2-6. The objective of this session is to facilitate interaction between these startups and various departments within their organization. They believe this could present potential collaboration opportunities and contribute to mutual growth and development of safety and security solutions.
Companies with any technology solutions relevant to the mission of policing, safety, and security are encouraged to apply for consideration. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence in security fields
- Sustainability in security fields
- Nanotech in security fields
- System development in security fields
- Cybersecurity
- Forensic Science
- Drones
- Traffic Safety
- Sensors
- Virtual/Augmented Reality
Dubai Police will cover all travel costs for selected startups including Economy Air, Hotel, and Meals for one or two attendees as appropriate. A preparatory/information session set will occur remotely in September.
Dubai Police are in the process of standing up a Knowledge, Innovation, and Development Center (KIDC) in Dubai, with a planned formal opening this fall.
