SEEKING STARTUP SPEAKERS FOR SUSTAINABILITY SYMPOSIUM IN THAILAND

Deadline: September 15, 2023

The MIT Industrial Liaison Program (ILP) is planning  a one-day symposium in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday, December 7, 2023 on the subject of sustainability.  The venue location is True Digital Park.

We seek four MIT-connected startups to participate.  Each participating startup will give a five-minute lightning talk, and then have a table/e-display in the hall that houses coffee breaks and symposium luncheon.  Delegates will be able to interact with the startups throughout the day.  In addition, the evening of Wednesday, December 6 there will be a VIP dinner to which the startup delegates will be invited. Startups with existing or plans for SE Asia operations are preferred. Each startup will be supported with premium economy airfare for one individual, and up to four hotel nights.

The audience is expected to include about 300 members of industry, academia, and government primarily from Thailand, though some from other SE Asian national may attend.  Four MIT faculty will give plenary talks, there will be an industry panel, as well as invited keynotes from local dignitaries.

Startups will need to do a virtual dry run to review slide deck at a mutually convenient time.
