Fujitsu Limited (“Fujitsu”) has developed a 40-qubit CPU-based quantum simulator with 1024 FX700 nodes using A64FX processors. It uses "Qulacs," a fast quantum simulator by Osaka University and QunaSys Corporation, enhanced for parallel and distributed execution with MPI and SVE optimization. Fujitsu also offers an SDK compatible with Qiskit for quantum software developers. A new feature this year is the Decision Diagram Simulator, which is more memory efficient and suitable for FTQC algorithms. The company is looking for applications from interested members of the industry and academia to test the quantum simulator on novel problems and applications.
