Business Challenge & Solutions

The growing demand for advanced coatings requires innovations that combine high performance, sustainability, and new functionalities.

WEG is looking for solutions that exploit nanotechnology, advanced materials and hybrids to develop high-performance paints and varnishes. The aim is to create products that offer greater durability, resistance to extreme conditions and intelligent functionalities, such as adaptation to different environments and carbon capture. In addition, WEG is interested in specialty chemicals for applications in sensors, energy and emerging technologies, as well as opportunities for new businesses adjacent to their current operations. - WEG to explore with select startups the opportunity for co-development or proof of concept (POC).

- Select startups may have access to WEG technical support, manufacturing capacity and customer network. As well to funding for development and testing.
