P&G is seeking for touchless tracking automation solutions

Deadline: September 5, 2025

P&G wants to better understand inefficiencies in their daily manufacturing processes – with the aim to enable Touchless Operations – it is important to understand: (1) what are the places where human operator intervenes (2) at what frequency and (3) how much effort goes into particular tasks (so that we can prioritize what are the transformations to be automated). Herewith, P&G is looking for ways to automate this tracking by leveraging cameras via AI Vision Technology primarily or other technologies.

WHAT?

The ideal solution is able to identify and quantify:

- Number/Frequency of touches and mean time between touch on particular equipment/area

- Type of touch (Quality check, CIL, Centerline check, Material loading, etc)

- Length of touch (effort associated with each touch)

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

- % Total Touches Captured (>90%)?

- How Data needs to be stored and for how long?

- Affordable for global scale, including low wage regions.

- Related to Technology-- AI capability - capable of identifying areas of opportunity (& ways to improve/reduce touches?)

WHO?

P&G is interested in solutions that tackle the full requested scope or at least have it in their development roadmap.

THE OFFER?

Where there is a good fit, P&G is looking to for potential collaborations, pilot and test solutions.

WHERE?

P&G is looking to drive in market pilots in North America, Asia (focus: China) and Europe – specific countries are: USA, Belgium, Germany & China

SUBMISSION PROCESS

Please submit your solution here by September 5. Early submissions have higher chances of being chosen to pilot.

- All responses will be reviewed by global Engineering team and select startups will be notified as to whether the response has been accepted for further consideration within third quarter of 2025.

- Select startups will be contacted by a P&G team member to schedule a meeting to present additional details on your company and solution as well as a demo.
