Safran Explore is the open innovation program of Safran Group. Purpose: to identify, support, and co-develop with the most promising startups the technologies that will shape the future of aerospace, defense, and space.
 

Safran Explore launched 5 challenges to shape orbital innovation

Each startup can apply to one of the five technology challenges. The program is open to startups & SME worldwide.

  • #1: Materials and systems adapted to satellite electric propulsion 
  • #2: Materials, components and systems for satellite on-board connectivity technology 
  • #3: Instrumentation and innovative sensors for launchers and/or aerospace systems 
  • #4: Components and Technologies for optical Earth Observation 
  • #5: Open Challenge
