DI YE: How is everyone going so far with the conference? It's great to see our faces here today. And for those of you who are watching remote. My name is Di Ye. I'm the founder and CEO of Zhennovate. I'm also a leadership coach and lecturer at MIT, working on technical leadership development.
It's my pleasure today to share with you how our work can help you and your organization thrive in change with our scalable professional coaching solution. How many of you know what-- have you experienced professional coaching, executive coaching, leadership coaching, or life coaching? Great.
And so here, I just want to-- before I dive into that, I just want to start by sharing-- oops. Oh, great. It's the big button. Thank you. So we have seen over the last few years lots of changes happening in our workforce as well, starting with the Great Resignation after the pandemic and then followed by the quiet quitting by many of your-- many of younger workers.
Then stepping into this year, we're faced with a new phenomenon called quiet hiring, which, it's 80% of the workforce are going through that. What does that mean? With more restructuring happening, a leaner workforce, most of the workers are being asked to do more job responsibilities beyond their job description.
Now, while that can be viewed as a career mobility approach, but it's not helpful for most of the workers who are already burned out from the pandemic years, especially impacting women, as well as-- it's now showing up to impact investor bottom lines. And there's limited things of what managers can do with the burnout. And the burnout situation is not getting better this year, unfortunately.
So the question becomes, this year, facing a leaner workforce in your company, what can you do to really retain and empower your workforce, especially those high-potential, top talent? So as the solution, we know that it's a burned-out, stressed workforce about change, and change is the only constant.
Is the solution about getting more perks, buying more subscriptions for Uber Eats or DoorDash for your workers? Or how about looking into, really, at the root cause, supporting your people to internalize what does this change mean to them as human. And so let's look at the human experiences going through change adaptation.
Professional coaching has been brought in as a proven support mechanism, supporting executives managing through transition. But the challenge of that is it's too expensive to scale because of-- you need high human touch from experts, and traditionally reserved for executive level. And this is where Zhennovate, our company, comes in.
We brought years of work integrating expertise in professional coaching, human behavior science, and AI to bring you the digital coaching solution. It's essentially a suite of web apps and chat bots that can be integrated into a variety of text messaging endpoints. And these chatbots are trained to be able to talk to you in the empathetic way and also ask you thought-provoking questions like what a coach will usually do to help you expand upon your perspectives and think through your intentions and plan your actions.
We also know that it's not enough to just do this alone and learn these coaching skills alone. You really need a sense of [? community ?] to do this and practice it together. And for that reason, we have peer-coaching and group-coaching solutions. So we have AI-- our AI algorithm can then match the members within your organization to support them in role-play exercises, as well as practice to learn and build these coaching skills.
And today, as you know, most of the employees prefer being able to get coached by their managers instead of being managed. And so in this process, you can empower your members to build that coaching skill with curiosity instead of judgment, to ask questions instead of managing, to empower others while, at the same time, they get to build meaningful relationships with each other, which is a retention driver.
So with all of that digitized, you can really enable anonymous organizational analytics to help you manage your organizations and workforce. So I just want to quickly share one of the case studies we've done. So we brought this in to an organization that was going through massive change. And as a result, 33% of the workers quit. And the employees were going through a lot of change fatigue, burnout.
Unfortunately, two change management consultants were brought into the organization and sequentially quit as well. So as you can see, it's lots of low morale. HR is trying to host the trainings, but with low attendance. So we were brought in as this neutral, tech-driven solution, too, because employees are too busy to be learning these skills. So how about a chatbot-driven solution to help employees learn these skills in their tiny moments and evoke that personal agency?
So what we have done is, through a holistic assessment with the organization, we identified a few topic areas that we know if the employees really learn these skills, it can move the needle to help the change management process move forward. So we then deployed our solution, customizing with teaching these skills in tiny moments of work. So it's like two to three minutes a day interaction with our bot.
As you can see, employees are learning these coaching frameworks whilst also being prompted to reflect and understand how to apply these coaching frameworks to analyze their current lived experiences at work and then plan actions. We're very excited to see that, in this particular case, 100% the users felt they get to be more intentional in daily work through the interactions.
And 72% of them, through the learning, actually felt they hit an aha moment and experienced a new blind-spot awareness, which opened up new intentions, new actions for them to take on. 85% took on new actions. And we didn't ask for this, but 40% of them actually came back to the bot and self-reported new results that they have achieved by taking on the action.
So what does this mean for the organization? Over time, the organiza-- as the employees are learning these skills of how to break through from victimhood to being a creator, being more intentional in co-creating with others, they are shifting from this resistance-resignation mindset to being able to co-create change with other colleagues.
We also see there are more avid, active learners. As they learn the concepts, they're going out in the community, sharing these concepts with their colleagues and actually creating steering committees to help drive the change from the grassroots level as a co-creative paradigm. And with our analytic reporting, the management were able then to do more understanding where the pain points are in life situations and provide a more data-driven management approach.
So we're here. We're very excited to bring this work forward to support and empower more of the workforce out there and with your organization. So coaching is actually a horizontal solution that can support a variety of initiatives in your company. And we are looking for corporate partners who are interested in working very closely with us.
We will be very dedicated to bringing our suite of tools that we have built to help solve your organizational challenges. And so what does that mean? It's going to be very customized and also, to help us develop with iterative feedback to help us look at how we can create an integrated, end-to-end solution for corporate-- for more corporate like yours.
So please scan the QR code for more details, and we'll be at the booth. We also have a ChatGPT bot that's currently in beta mode. That's available for you to try out if you're interested. Thank you.
