Overview

The MIT Energy Conference will be back on campus on February 23-24, 2026, with a new edition themed “Securing the Energy Future: Resources for Resilience”. A core feature of the conference is the Innovators Forum, a curated showcase where cutting-edge startups and research initiatives in energy and climate present their technologies to industry leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, researchers, and students.

Key benefits for participating startups include:

  • Direct connections with industry incumbents and potential partners

  • Exposure to investors and capital allocators in climate & energy

  • Access to MIT/Harvard students and local energy professionals

  • Visibility through MITEC media, marketing, and event programming

  • Connect with deep-tech enablers and engineering partners such as COMSOL

  • One-on-one mentorship session to refine pitched with accelerator professional

     

Past participants include Sublime Systems, Lithios, VEIR, Emvolon, AtmosZero, and others.

MIT Startup Exchange is excited to collaborate with the conference organizers to have STEX portfolio companies apply and participate! Below are the details:
