Critical Metal Refining, Simplified
Overview
MIT Horizon is hosting a webinar, "Critical Metal Refining, Simplified," presented by Megan O'Connor, co-founder of Nth Cycle.
The refining of critical metals such as nickel and cobalt from waste can be done much more efficiently with a new electro-extraction technology. Megan O'Connor is co-founder of a company focused on sustainable, domestic production of critical metals. She will discuss the transformative potential of the Oyster, an electro-extraction device that is small enough to locate at the source of recycling, manufacturing, or mining, meaning waste metals don’t have to be shipped to stand-alone refining plants.
