As a zero-equity incubator with strong support from prominent companies in Taiwan, one of Garage+'s primary objectives is to identify startups that can benefit from collaborating with leading Taiwanese and international corporations and investors. Garage+ offers an 8-day business matchmaking program that includes tailored one-on-one meetings, an invitation-only exhibition, Open House, and more, all designed to support startup global growth.

This tailored event for North American startups, will have Steve Pan, Director of UMC Capital, as a speaker. UMC Capital is the CVC arm of UMC, a global semiconductor foundry leader. They have focused on technology startup investment for over 20 years, especially in the semiconductor sector. In the webinar, Steve will share his insights on strategic opportunities in Taiwan industry. Meanwhile, Kevin Conley, CEO of Applied Brain Research (ABR), a Canadian startup focusing on edge IoT chips, is going to share his experience in cooperation with Taiwan industries and with Garage+.
