Speak at 2021 MIT Research & Development Conference: Resiliency Through Innovation

Deadline: October 1, 2021

Looking for 10 Startups to present their technology on November 17 at 2021 MIT Research & Development Conference: Resiliency Through Innovation (in person). Format: Startup Lightning Talks at noon (5 mins each), followed by Startup Lunch Exhibit (1 hr).  The expected audience will include hundreds of executives from MIT ILP corporate members globally. More details can be found on the ILP website, including covid protocols. Please note: if anything changes again due to the pandemic, we will look to host the startup portion virtually around the same time.

Long before the current pandemic, MIT has fostered a culture which believes that innovation is about change, and that change is about resiliency. Enduring and recovering from difficult technical, environmental, and personal challenges depends on how quickly we can innovate a solution around them. New technologies which succeed are those which can adapt to different settings, promise widespread application, and most importantly, stay flexible in a constantly changing business environment. Please join us back on campus to meet MIT researchers, MIT Startup Exchange entrepreneurs, and global business leaders working in a spectrum of the following fields:

Sustainability, Corporate Innovation, Disruptive Technology in Manufacturing, Sensors, Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals, Energy, Mobility and Space Technology.

Apply early as per the below (selections will be made on a rolling basis):

  • -brief description of your startup's technology-based product/services & 1 compelling use case; and one-line description (tagline)
  • -brief description of current market traction (e.g. pilot, validation results, paying customers, etc.);
  • -speaker bio & a few words on the speaker’s experience as a speaker (optionally, including a video sample);
  • -one-paragraph explanation of the unique fit between the event/theme and the startup’s vision, technologies, products, or services.
