ThruWave makes the invisible visible with human-safe millimeter waves. Our high-throughput sensors are an easy retrofit for existing conveyors and robotic material handling systems. Our sensors see through non-metallic packaging to make 3D images of the items inside. Our image analysis software automatically interprets these 3D images to yield key process variables such as item counts, detection of missing or damaged items, or detection of fill fraction.
Description

Description

ThruWave builds 3D millimeter wave image sensors that can see through containers and make images like an X-ray machine, but cheaper and without the health hazards. Unlike other technologies, we create 3D images to generate analytics. This means that even if there are multiple layers of items in the final sealed packaging, we can accurately verify item counts, detect damage, and identify contaminants in products.

ThruWave enables unprecedented supply chain visibility with human-safe millimeter waves. Our high-throughput sensors see through non-metallic packaging to make 3D images of the items inside. They are an easy retrofit for existing conveyors and robotic material handling systems. Our image analysis software automatically interprets these 3D images to yield key process variables such as item counts, detection of missing or damaged items, or detection of fill fraction.

We have systems in the field with some of the largest and most demanding customers in ecommerce and physical retail, and recently announced a Gov't mail and package screening application via In-Q-Tel.
