Dubai Police would like to invite 5 MIT-connected startups to participate as part of an MIT Regional Conference in Dubai on 5-7 Mar 2024. Participation will include a 5-minute featured presentation and an exhibit booth for all three days of the conference.
Dubai Police sponsors an annual conference to share best practices and lessons learned in the realm of the policing mission. This is the World Police Summit. We are planning an MIT Regional Conference under this overall umbrella with the MIT Conference to be held on 7 Mar, but the Startup invitation is for the full conference. Each startup will be provided a table within an MIT Booth for all three days of the show, plus will do a 5 minute pitch during the 7 Mar sub-conference.
Companies with any technology solutions relevant to the mission of policing, safety, and security are encouraged to apply for consideration. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
Dubai Police will cover all travel costs for selected startups including Economy Air, Hotel, and Meals for one or two attendees as appropriate. As this is an international showcase opportunity, preference will be given to those startups with something ready for deployment with a preference to something physical to show/demonstrate where possible.
NOTE: Priority during the selection process will be given to startups that have participated in an Intake Session; or have recently provided an update to the MIT Startup Exchange team.
