The Taiwan Chip-based Industrial Innovation Program (Taiwan CbI) is a collaborative effort by various Taiwanese government ministries, leveraging Taiwan’s semiconductor expertise by integrating chips with key innovations. Startups should be focused on IC design innovations and Chip-based innovative applications in the following industries: data & security, mobility, sustainability, manufacturing and medtech.
The Blueprint Program supports the journey from scientist to founder, guiding researchers as they transform breakthrough discoveries into real-world solutions. Applications for the fall cohort, sponsored by Mercury, are now open. Over eight weeks, participants gain a comprehensive view of the entrepreneurial path. Expert-led sessions, hands-on workshops, peer learning, and mentorship from investors and seasoned company builders help researchers develop the skills and confidence to launch Tough Tech ventures.
