MIT Startup Exchange presents its September Startup Workshop, centered around real-world IoT and edge computing. Many companies are grappling with how to use IoT and data/AI in their organization to monitor, predict, improve, and transform what they do. Meanwhile, many MIT startups are developing and providing innovative technology solutions to answer these very questions for industry. This workshop will present perspectives from industry leaders, academics, and corporate investors, while also showcasing select MIT startups in the field.
Organizations and individuals are facing tremendous challenges in today’s workplace. How work gets done, when and where work gets done and now who does the work are key questions that leaders have to tackle. In this symposium we will address the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the future of work. How can new technology tools like generative AI improve productivity and product quality for firms, as well as flexibility and job quality for workers? How can we tackle workforce development in new ways to gear up for this paradigm shift in the workplace?
Robotics, Drones and Sensor Tech Innovation is a half-day event covering emerging technologies at the intersection of robotics, drones and sensors. Key themes include, but are not limited to: drone miniaturization, advanced manufacturing, touch for robotics (“the last mile”), drone applications (logistics, agriculture), collision avoidance / landscape sensing technologies, etc.
Procter & Gamble is looking for new approaches and technologies that can help them to address their broad range of sustainability challenges/opportunities. The following innovation brief(s) will provide a high-level overview of specific business goals and needs, as well as a high-level overview of what they are looking for in a solution.
